Difference Maker

Do you know what I love most about advocacy?

Making a difference and seeing the impact that is being made because of that difference.

Just this week I had a dear friend ask for my advice on finding some ethically sourced products. I was so excited to share that information with her because it means what I am doing IS making a difference.

Then, I was at Target with my sister and noticed something pretty amazing!

I was so excited about this that I stopped and stared at it for several seconds and then immediately began to check all the denim tags for that label. They weren’t there yet; BUT they are coming!

Why am I so excited about this?

It means our voices have been heard and major corporations are listening! It means we are making a difference!

So, today dear friend, I hope you know that no matter where you are or what you are doing you can and will make a difference. Use your platform, your social media, your voice. And don’t stop!!!! Our world is in desperate need of difference makers, in need of those to be the light and shine brightly in the darkness.
